Passed away 10th March 2011 at Roseneath, Carterton, surrounded by his loving whanau.

Loved son of the late Stan and Ischia. Much loved husband for 47 years of Margery (nee Kaio). Loved father of Dalkeith and Fiona, and Katrina; Ian-Wayne and Jennie,and Francine; and Rose-Loree (Bubz). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Billy (deceased) and Matua, Mary and Trevor, Tonga and Judy, Alan and Audrey, Agnes and Melvyn, Ian and Shona, Pamela and Kerin, Sol (deceased) and Barbara, Heather and Sam, Johnny and Chick, Gary and Arlene, Ruth and Ian and Ronald, and Lynette. Precious Koro and Grandad of Dalkeith Jnr, Samantha, Jennifer, Brock, Scott, Cohen, Carlos (deceased), Alex, Billy, and Te Amoroa. Great Grandad to Samuel, Madison, Taygon, and Mekai. Great friend and uncle to his many nieces and nephews in NZ and Aussie.

Special thanks and love to the staff of Roseneath for all their care.

A funeral service for Alex will be held at Hurunuiorangi Marae on Monday 14th March at 11.00am followed by burial at Ngai Taneroa Urupa.
