On 6th June 2011 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital. Aged 77 years.

Loved husband of Dale. Loved father and father-in-law of Rachael and Heath MacKenzie, and Rebekah. Loved Grandad of Jack, Leo and Rose.

In accordance with John’s wishes a private family gathering has been held.
