Peacefully on 27th August 2011, at Kandahar Court. In his 89th year.

Loving husband and friend of Shirley. Loved father and father in law of Judith & John Pottage (Australia), Susan & Rinus Vink (Australia), Anne & Glenn Campin, Jeff (deceased) & Mary Workman, Pam & Jack Robinson. Special friend of Derryn. Loved brother of Robert (deceased), Donald (deceased), Margaret Ford (Napier) and Joy Feast (Greytown). Loved Grandad to his 15 grandchildren and great Grandad to his 19 great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Basil’s life will be held at Richmond Chapel, 10 Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 31 August 2011 at 2.30pm, followed by burial at the Greytown Services Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society PO Box 856 Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer.
