McCartie, Trevor James - suddenly on 30 December 2005 at Wellington Hospital, as the result of a heart attack on the golf course, doing what he loved, aged 68.

Loving husband, adventure companion and soulmate of Shirley. Loving and caring Dad and good friend of Donna, Adrienne and Ray (Australia). Kind and caring step-Dad to Eileen and Harry (Northern Ireland) Shona and Paul, Myra and Paul, Karen, and Mark and Sheryl. Devoted and caring Grandad of Zoe, Helena, and Anna; Laurence and Adam; Michael, Simon and Hanagh; Aidan, Regan and Shannon; Tess, Kaitlyn and Bridget; Mikayla and Ryan; Hamish and Rowan.

Will be sadly missed.

A Celebration of Trevor's life will be held in the Guardian Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville at 1.30 pm on Wednesday 4 January 2006, followed by a private cremation.
