On 14th February 2012 at Wairarapa Hospital, in her 87th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late George Snell.
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Catherine (deceased), Annette and Tony Wallace (Perth), Selwyn and Barbara Snell (Brisbane), Everton and Kathy Snell (Christchurch). Loved Grandmother of Donnelle, Tony George; Aaron and Hayden; Papillon, Shalako and Shonte. Great Grandmother of Emma-Fay; Chloe and Ashton. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Russel and Marion Garrity (Carterton), the late Joan and Sid Phelps, the late Gwen and Leo Phelps, Burt (deceased) and Vurla Garrity, the late Rex and Aileen Garrity, Fay (deceased) and Pat McManaway. Loved and cherished by all her nieces, nephews and friends.

A service for Betty will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Monday 20th February at 2pm followed by interment at Hamilton Park Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday 22nd February at 10.00 am.
