Loved wife of the late Jim Hayes and the late Hughie Tregilgas. Loved mother and mother in law of Jack and Sandy Hayes (Masterton), Roly and Ellywse Hayes (Fiji), Helen and Alan Jones (Auckland), Janet Hayes (Auckland), Kate and John Tailby (Queensland) and Pete and Gill Hayes (Wellington). Loved stepmother of Brian (deceased) and Anne Tregilgas. Loved granny to David and Michelle, Kate, Penny, Sarah and Jules, Karin, Matthew and Sarah, Jason, Sharron, Nathan, Laura and Jess, Phillippa, Megan and Rowan, Steph, Erin, Kirsty and Jodie, Chris, Stephen and Rachel and much loved old granny to her 25 great grandchildren.

Eldest daughter of the late Ted and Winifred Sexton. Loved sister and sister in law of Bill (deceased) and Peggy Sexton, Whangarei, Noreen (deceased) and Jim Goodman, Avalon, Dawn and Harold Williams, Miramar, Dorothy and Harry Hall (and the late Noel Mason) Taita, Pat and Keith Gutry, Te Kauwhata and Janice and Ray Gordon, Lower Hutt. Loved Aunty to all of her nieces and nephews.

A service for Hettie will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Onepu Rd and Cockburn St, Kilbirnie on Friday the 27 July at 2:30pm, followed by private cremation.
