On September 7, 2012 peacefully at home in Masterton surrounded by his family.

Loved husband and soul-mate of Josephine. Much loved son of the late Myrtle. Loved father and father in law of Janice and Ken Anderson, Karen and Neil Wilton, Rose and Rob Broughton, Kevin Graham, and Jo and Michael Mark. Dearly loved Grandad of Simon, Kasey, Justin, Tegan, Sam, Jayden, Courtney, Danni, Tiana, Tyree, and Niko and great Grandad of Bailey, Larissa, Cruz, Savannah, Indyanna, and Corbyn. Loved brother of Lorna and uncle of Ross.

John will be at 11 Kibblewhite Road Masterton for those wishing to visit.

A service for John will be held at Rosewood 415 Queen Street Masterton on Tuesday September 11 at 2.00pm followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery, River Road Masterton.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Wellington Free Ambulance c/- P O Box 601 Wellington or can be left in the foyer at the service.
