On 9th September 2012 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, surrounded by family.

Dearly loved wife of Ian (for 59 years).

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Karen (Christchurch), and Mark (Lower Hutt).

Special Grandma of Kent, Brett, and Jade and Mark.

A loved sister, sister-in-law, special Auntie, and friend to many.

A service for Verna will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, High Street south, Carterton on Thursday 13th September 2012 at 2.00 p.m. followed by private cremation.
