WELLINGTON, William George (Bill)

Bill lost his long battle and passed away peacefully at Glenwood Masonic Hospital on February 9 2013 with his family by his side, aged 82.

Adored husband and soul-mate of Fay for 56 years. Loving Dad and father in law to John and Catherine (Aus), Sandra and Bruce, Angela and Matthew, Lance and Relda. Amazing Grandad to Emma and Daniel (Aus), Khristos and Kady (Aus), Renee and Tim, Joey, Shani, Ethan and Georgia, Luke and Hayden. Great grandad to Destiny, Acacia, Ella and Leeana. Loved oldest son and son-in-law of Bill and Helen Wellington (deceased) and Elsie and Stan Featherstone (deceased).

Treasured brother and brother in law of Barbara (dec) Val and Kevin Bartley and Mel and Denise Wellington.

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Glenwood and Kahukura for their love and care of us all.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kahukura Wairarapa Palliative Care PO Box 96 Masterton.

A Service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Rosewood, 415 Queen Street Masterton on Friday February 15 at 2.00pm followed by a private cremation.
