Gorton, Christopher Robert (Chris),1.3.1948 - 21.2.2013. Peacefully and with the greatest dignity in Margaret's arms, at Mary Potter Hospice on Thursday 21 February 2013.

In his 65th year one week short of getting the pension. Much loved husband, best friend and soul mate of Margaret ( nee Crump).

Loved and special dad to Christian, loved father-in-law of Donna, and very special and loving popsiboy to Mack and Lachie. Loved second son of Jean and John Gorton (Waikanae), loved brother to Michael, Richard and Jeremy and their families. Loved brother-in-law to Jan, Doug and Barry and their families.

In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice who cared so wonderfully for Chris would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Messages to the Gorton family may be left in Chris's tribute book belowor posted c/- 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville.

Chris's funeral service will be held at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville on Tuesday 26 February 2013 at 2:00pm and will be followed by a private cremation.
