Of Greytown. On 24th February 2013 peacefully at Greytown Lifecare. Aged 91 years.

Beloved husband of the late Muriel (Toby).

Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Bruce and Margaret (Rotorua), Neil and Ann (Greytown), Joy and John Welsh (Greytown).

Loved Pop and Poppa of Nicola and Eamon Heffernan (Ireland), Angela and Quintin Bigwood; Vicky Lee and Lee Butters, Debbie and Mike Dennes; Peter and Lisa, Rachel, Brian and Keely.

Loved great Pop of Killian, and Caoimhe; Ceejay, and Koby; Chloe, Ollie, and baby Riley.

A loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

A service for Smithy will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 27th February 2013 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
