Peacefully at Greytown Lifecare, Greytown on Tuesday April 9, 2013, aged 86.

Adored wife of Ralph Day for 66 years. Loved mother and mother–in-law of Jenny and Tim Carr (Greytown), Carol and Trevor Parsons (Ohope Beach), Martin and Trish Day (Blenheim), Rex and Sue Day (Brisbane). Loved Nana Jean of Julieanne, David, Marie, Phillip, Michael, Jacob, Nathan and Rebecca. Loved great Nana Jean of her 6 great grandchildren. Loved Sister of Owen Woodhead (Palmerston North) and the late Frank, Nelson, Ila, Robin and their families.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at the South Wairarapa Working Mens Club, West Street Entrance, Greytown on Thursday, April 11 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
