SIMPSON, Ken
Born Bebington, Wirral, England 6 May 1934 - 15 September 2013

Sadly after a very brief illness Ken passed away peacefully in Wellington Hospital.

Most loved and precious best friend and husband of Barbara for 53 years.

Dearly loved father and father in law of Bruce and Beth, Karen and Les Wick, granddad of Matt, Tegan, Abby and Haylee whom Ken loved all the world and half of Secombe.

Also dearly loved by Raymond & Barbara, Joyce & Ronnie, Lesley, Auntie Bet, Brenda, the twins Maureen & Pauline, Pauline & Terry, Marie & Stan, Ange & Mark and the rest of the Barlow, Simpson & Smith families in England.

Ken was taken from all of us too quickly but heaven now has the best home handy man it could ever hope to have.

He was larger than life and will leave a big gap in many lives.

We will all miss his loud voice, silly sayings and the way he made everyone laugh.

And we loved him, a cow & an acre of land.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service.

Ken's funeral service will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, corner of Onepu Road and Cockburn Street, Kilbirnie on Thursday 19th September 2013 at 1:30pm.
