Passed away peacefully at Vincentian Home on 29 December 2013 after a long illness.

Treasured husband of the late Maua Kolotia Kuresa and loving father to Lena, Davy, Mary and Peter, Luisa and Dan, and Elizabeth and John. Cherished grandfather to Chanel, Alex, Gabriel, Matthew, Kadesha, Miguel, Olivia, Cross, Ayla, and Gwenhwyfar. Great-grandfather of Imahni.

Tavita's funeral service will be celebrated at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St and Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie on Friday 3 January 2014 at 11:00am, thereafter interment at the Makara Cemetery.
