- on August 6th 2006 peacefully at Te Hopai Hospital. Aged 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Molly; Much loved father and father in law of Sally and Harry, Helen and Neil, Janet, James and Janice, John and Fiona. Dearly loved Grandfather of Alex, Heather, Katherine, Elliot, Sarah, Rebecca, and Hugh.

Charles' funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of St Paul, Molesworth Street Thorndon on Thursday August 10th 2006 at 10:00am thereafter to the Makara Cemetery.
