On July 2, 2014, suddenly at Dunedin Hospital; aged 66 years young. Beloved partner and best mate of John Pearce. Beloved wife of the late Doug Dowie. Much loved mother and mother-in-law Michelle and Graeme, Brendon Dowie (USA, Paul and Rebecca Dowie.

Loving Mema of Samantha, James, Ricky, and Tim; Alex; and Eva. Dearest friend of Karen and Phil Moore, Joanne and Robert Garden, Mark and Margot Pearce. Dearest friend and Nana Kay of Brittany, and Hannah Moore, Oliver, Lewis, and George Garden, Claudia, Emilia, and Tom Pearce.

Our beloved Kay passed away on 2 July 2014. She was my best friend, sister-in-law and she has left a huge gap in my life. Loved wife of the late Doug. Much loved sister-in-law of Mavis Garden, the late Sylvia Mathias and Christine Larkins. Auntie to Leeann Stern, and Michael Walker. She will be so missed by them both.
