On the 9 April 2015, peacefully at home. In his 73rd year.

Dearly loved and treasured husband of Joan for 40 years.
Loved and deeply admired father and father-in-law of Shane and Danielle, Daniel and Amy. Loved brother of Bruce, Carol, Laurence, Edwin and the late Jim and Garus. A loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

A service of thanksgiving for Bernie’s life will be held at the Carterton Reformed Church, 6 Howard St, Carterton on Wednesday 15 April 2015 at 11.00am followed by burial at the Clareville Lawn Cemetery.
