Ria passed into eternity oh so peacefully on 31 July, with family by her side, at her home in Featherston.

Loved wife of the late Hendrikus Maria Franciscus (Henk) van Woerkom.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Marg & Robin Lyttle (Featherston), Jo & Ross Gundersen (Carterton), Mike & Carol van Woerkom (Featherston), Bill & Joleen van Woerkom (Masterton), Adie & Gordon Wyeth (Featherston), Niki & Duke Molnar (Featherston) and John & Kathryn van Woerkom (Lower Hutt).

Born November 14th 1927 in Loon op Zand, The Netherlands - a beloved daughter of Marinus Josephus (dec) and Johanna Gerarda (dec) van de Ven.
A respected sister, sister-in-law and aunt of many in The Netherlands.

A remarkable woman with an unwavering faith in the Risen Lord.

Ria will be at home, 4 Kenward Cres, for any who wish to visit.
Holy Rosary will be recited at St Teresa’s Church at 5pm on Monday evening, August 3rd and a Requiem Mass will be celebrated the following day at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Sisters of Compassion.
