BASSETT, Barbara Joan (nee Johnston) of Matarawa, Carterton. Passed away peacefully on Thursday 3rd September 2015 with family by her side. Aged 78 years. Most loved and cherished wife of Don for 51 years. Treasured mother and mother in law of Jane and Gordon Grant, Matthew and Kristyn Bassett, Robert and Nicola Bassett. Adored Nana of Conner, and Bridget Grant; Emma, and Sophie Bassett; Campbell, and Lachlan Bassett. Sister and Sister in law of the late Ian and Julie Johnston, Alison and Ken Hunter, John (dec) and Helen Bassett, Douglas and Marg Bassett, Pauline Bassett (dec). Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.

In memory of Barbara, a donation to Diabetes Wairarapa, C/- 320 Upper Plain Rd, RD8, Masterton would be appreciated and may also be left in the church foyer. A Service for Barbara will be held at St Marks Anglican Church, High Street South, Carterton on Tuesday 8th September 2015 at 1pm, followed by private cremation.
