On Saturday, 16 January, 2016 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family to meet His Lord Jesus at the age of 95 years.

Beloved, handsome and deeply cherished husband for 57 years of Anasitasia (late). Dearly loved and precious father and father-in-law of Logan (late) and Hine, Leah, Maria and Maki, Mark and Tony. Highly respected, treasured and much loved grandfather of Tuakana, Parekura, Damien, Natasha, Anastasia, Sylvanna, Renee, Bryce and Lily. Loved great grandfather of Makaira, Nakcha, Ezra, Gabriel and Lexi. Dearly loved brother of Maria (late), Stefan (late), Jozef (late) and Wladek (late). Dearly loved by all his extended family in NZ and Poland. Special father to Lafu, Eletise, Teuila and John. Loved and admired deeply by all his friends.

Special thanks for the loving care and support shown to Antoni by Doctor Michael Berry and staff at the Featherston Medical Centre, Assoc. Prof. Stewart Mann, Wakefield Heart Centre and Palliative Care Nurses, Care Givers from Healthcare New Zealand and Access, staff at Lang’s Pharmacy and Paramedics from Wellington Free Ambulance and St John’s Ambulance. To Father Don Morrison, Father Stefano Lee and Anita for your prayers and administering Holy Communion.

Greatly missed but your love, strength and hope will endure forever. We rejoice in the Lord’s promise that we will see you again in God’s everlasting Kingdom.

A family service to celebrate Antoni’s Rosary will be held on Thursday, 21 January at 7.00 pm.

A Requiem Mass will be held to celebrate the life of Antoni at the St Teresa of Avila Church, 50 Bell Street, Featherston on Friday, 22 January at 11.00 am to be followed by interment at the Featherston Lawn Cemetery.

You were a father and a great uncle to so many of us.
Thank you for being there for me. I'll miss our phone chats. I'll miss you very much. It won't be the same coming home to Featherston.
But you will always be in my heart forever. Love you very very much.
