DAY, Melvin Norman (Pat) - CNZM

At Wellington on 18 January 2016, after a brief illness, aged 92. Born at Hamilton on 30 June 1923.

Beloved husband of the late Oroya.

Painter and author, and former Director of the national Art Gallery of NZ and Government Art Historian.

A life creatively lived.

Pat can be visited at home, 3-5pm on Wednesday and Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Te Hopai Trust or Katherine Mansfield Birthplace would be appreciated.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at St Christopher's, Forres Street, Seatoun on Friday 22nd January at 1pm. Thereafter private cremation.
