ROBERTS Doreen Elsie, nee McDowell, formerly of Upper Hutt. On 22nd November 2004 peacefully at Palliser Rest Home and Hospital Greytown, aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Adrian. Loved mother and mother in law of Sandra and Graham Edridge (Greytown) and Karen and Glen Riddell (Sydney). Loved grandmother of Kate, and John (London), Fiona (Nelson); James, Lizzie, and Lucinda (Australia) and Mary –Jane (London). Loved sister and sister in law of Jack and Leah McDowell (Auckland), Joan Bowden (Melbourne) and the late Frank, the late George McDowell, Doris and William Bird, Lloyd and Zilpha McDowell. Frank McDowell deceased and Jean (Colgate), and the late Bruce; Enfys Graham (Wellington) and the late David, Dylis and Eric Beardsley (Christchurch), the late Marion and Warren Blain. Garth Roberts deceased and Renee (Christchurch) and the late Bryn and Lois Roberts.
A loved great grandmother, aunt and great aunt. A service for Doreen will be held at 32 Papawai Road Greytown, on Thursday 2nd December 2004 at 11.00 am, followed by private cremation.
