SCHRADER, Rona May (nee Berg)
Of Hawera, formerly Patea.
On 1st November 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by family. In her 78th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Hendrik. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephan and Trish (Morrinsville), Ana and the late John Duncan (Hamilton), Kathy and Murray Mead (Manaia), Jenny and Pete Giddens (Carterton), Colin (Patea), Ian (Pahiatua), Mike and Robyn (Hurleyville), Michelle (Stratford), Mary and Craig Dorn (Toko). Much loved Nana and Oma of Glen & Jenny, Tony and Mel; Hannah-May and Simon, and Sam; Natalie, and Hamish; Adam & Bec, Daniel & Jess, and Brandon; Chloe & Al, Nicky, and William; Nicolaas; Samara, and Hayley. Loved Oma to her great grandchildren: Emalee and Kimberlee; Scarlett; Hollie and Maddison; and Eoin. Loved sister, sister-in-law, and auntie of the Berg and Schrader families.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice Taranaki, P.O. Box P.O. Box 5122, Westown, New Plymouth 4343 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.

A Requiem Mass for Rona will be celebrated in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Victoria St, Hawera. On Friday 4th November 2016 at 11:00am followed by private cremation.

Stephan and Trish, Ana, Kathy and Murray, Jenny and Pete, Colin, Ian, Mike and Robyn, Michelle, Mary and Craig and families, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who have supported them in so many ways during Rona’s recent illness and at the time of her passing.

A special thanks to: Dr Richard Meyer, Breeda, Lyn, Lorraine and the Palliative Care Team, and the Doctors and staff at Hawera Hospital for their supportive care; to Fr Tom Lawn, Hanny Mansvelt, and the St Joseph’s Parish family for their prayerful and practical support; to those who gave donations to Hospice Taranaki; and to all who travelled to be with us at this time.

While it is hard to single out individuals we would like to especially thank Betty, Liz and Wayne, Ross, Thelma, and Mary for being there for us all.
We will always remember the kindness of you all and will always appreciate the comfort we received from the many personal messages of sympathy, cards, letters, flowers, food, phonecalls, visits and tributes.

As we may not be able to thank you all individually please accept this as a personal acknowledgement to each and every one of you. We are comforted in the knowledge that Rona and Hendrik are now together again.
