Peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital on 1st January 2017, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Kay, father and father-in-law of Susan and David Mackay, Grandad of Ethan, Ella, and Mikayla. Beloved son of Ted and Vera. Brother of June, Joan, Don and Grahame.
A farewell service for Les will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton, on Saturday 7th January 2017 at 3.00pm. Followed by private cremation.

FAMILY THANKS
Kay, Susan, David, Ethan, Ella and Mikayla wish to express their heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours and ex-work colleagues who have supported them during the recent loss of Les.
A sincere thanks to Dr Berry and staff at the Featherston Medical Centre and also the staff at Wairarapa Hospital for caring for Les over the years and in his last days. Les was a much loved son, brother, uncle, cousin, husband, father, father-in-law, Grandad and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to be part of his life. Les will be forever in our hearts. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgement of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
