MacPhail, Eva Joyce. Of Carterton. On 30 November 2004 peacefully at Carter Court. In her 86th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Rance. Loved mother and mother in law of Owen and Val (Masterton), Susan and Denis Huntley (Carterton), Robert and Lil McCallum (Brisbane), Paul and Alijah (Darwin), Peter and Bev (Whitby), Gerard and Lyn (Christchurch), loved Nana of Eugene and Tania (Masterton); David and Rhonda Huntley (Pukerua Bay), Maria and Stuart Tankersley (Carterton), Neil and Alison Huntley (Carterton), Sandra and Johny Edwards (Porirua); Dion and Helen McCallum (Brisbane), Richelle and Gary McCallum-Woods (Brisbane); Scott (Sydney), and William (Darwin); Emily, and Holly (Whitby). Loved “Nana Mac” of her great grandchildren Kieran, Rhys, and Hayden; Jessica and Tahlia; Zoe; and Caitlin. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Order of St John, P.O. Box 113, Carterton would be appreciated and may be left in the Church foyer.
Requiem Mass for Eva will be celebrated in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Carterton on Thursday 2nd December 2004 at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment at the Clareville Lawn Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at the Richmond Funeral Home, Carterton Wednesday evening (1st December 2004) at 7.00 p.m.

To those who sent cards, letters, flowers, food, gave donations to the Order of St John, phoned, visited and attended the Rosary and Mass – thank you, we have gained comfort from your kind gestures.
We are grateful for the loving care Eva received from the caring staff at Carter Court, and to the neighbours, friends and caregivers, especially Di Shailer, who had been there for Eva.
Thank you also to Fr Eddie Condra, Fr Peter Fitzgibbon and the St Mary’s Parish family for being part of such a fitting farewell to a lovely lady.
