Peacefully on 27th November 2017 at Glenwood Masonic Hospital. Aged 88 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Herbert Noel (Bert) Larsen and the late Rex Playle .
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rex and Barb Playle (Masterton), and Peter and Judy Larsen (Auckland).
Loved Nan of Kiri and Andi, Tania and Nick, Neens and James, Ana and Scott; Kate and Rob, Carl, Kurt and Liz, Dana and Logan; Greg and Belen.
Loved Great Nan of Sarah-Jane, Taine, Cohen, and MacKay; Neve, Macey and Poppy; Zak and Indy; Benjamin, Campbell and Pippa; Taylor, Mitchell, Riley and Samantha; Victor and Stella; Sienna, and Orlando.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Life Flight Trust, PO Box 14 448, Wellington 6241 would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
A service for Joan will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton
on Friday 1st December 2017 at 3.00pm followed by private cremation.

Rex and Barbara, Peter and Judy and their families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who have supported them in many ways during their recent loss of Joan – a much loved mother, mother-in-law, Nan and great Nan.
