PEREIRA, ALPHONSUS HECTOR. On Friday 29th December 2017 peacefully departed at Riverleigh rest home, Lower Hutt aged 91 years.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Maselina Pereira (nee Ateliano Perez).
Loved father and father in law of Talia & Ken, Alphonso & Miri, MaryAnne & Iosia.
Cherished grandfather of Jermaine & Olivia, Danielle, Leilani & Tuari, Reuben, Tyrei. Precious great grandfather of Ayva, Nevaeh, Izaiah, Titan.
Son of the late Joseph & Mele Pereira (nee Pedro).
Dearly missed by his surviving brother, William Pereira & sister in law Eunice of Tasmania, and extended family from NZ and overseas.
Family service Sunday 7th January at 6pm, Requiem mass to celebrate Hector's life Monday 8th January 10am, both at St Michael's Catholic church, Tocker St, Taita.
Hector will be lying in state from Tuesday 2nd January at Te Umiumiga a Tokelau hall, 14 Clendon St, Naenae.
