McKENZIE, Claire Marie. Of Carterton.
On 27th December 2018 unexpectedly at her home, surrounded by family. Aged 65 years.
Dearly loved wife and soulmate of David.
Loved mother of Nathan, Quentin, and Bonnie.
Beloved ‘Nan’ of Dwayne, and Chavarna and loved great Nan of Amelia, and Evie.
A loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Kahukura Palliative Care Service, P.O. Box 96, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer.
A service for Claire will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Monday 31st December 2018 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.

David, Nathan, Quentin, Bonnie and families wish to express their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who supported them in various ways during Claire’s illness and at the time of her passing.
We have appreciated the many lovely personal messages of sympathy, cards, letters, flowers, food, phone calls, visits, tributes, and the presence of so many at the service.
A special thanks to Doctor Craig Cherry, Carterton Medical Centre staff and the Kahukura Palliative Care Team for their care; to Sharon Penny, and Pastor Wayne and Jennifer Poutoa for their support and comforting words; to Di Shailer and the St Mary’s music group for their participation in the service; and to the Management and staff at Masson’s for their support.
We are comforted in the knowledge that Claire has touched the lives of so many wonderful people.
