O’CONNELL, Veronica Mary

On January 5, 2019 peacefully at Mossbrae Hospital;aged 92 years.

Dearly loved daughter of the late John and Vera O’Connell, loved sister of Colleen Newlands and beloved sister of the late Clarice, John, Kevin, Desmond, Cecil, Patricia, and Maurice, also a much respected sister-in-law. Veronica was also a very special Auntie, Great Auntie and Great Great Auntie to all her nieces and nephews.

Grateful thanks to all the people who have cared for Veronica over the past years, especially the staff of Home of St Barnabas and Mossbrae Hospital.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Basilica, Macandrew Road, South Dunedin at 10.30am on Friday January 11, followed by private cremation.
