Peacefully at Woburn Home, Lower Hutt on Thursday, 31st January 2019.

Loved son of Beryl and Bill (both dec). Younger brother of Pat (dec) and Marie, Dianne and George. Uncle to Damian and Cindy, Justine and Ian, Stephanie and Rob, Peter and Renee. Great-uncle to Brett, Naomi, Rhiannon, Tim, Elizabeth, Liam, Jeffery, William and Ryan. Rod was a loved friend and coach to many at the Naenae Weightlifting and Wellington Olympic Weightlifting Clubs.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Rod will be held at the Angus Inn Hotel (Woburn Room), 5 Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on Friday, 15th February at 3:30pm.
