RYAN, Stephen Joseph (Steve).
Aged 51, died peacefully at home surrounded by family after a tough battle with cancer.
Beloved husband and best friend of Kim, adored father of Julia and Jack. Loved son of Pat (dec.) and Gwen. Brother of Patrick, Michael & Carol, Eileen & John, Anne & Kevin, Kathleen & Mike, Paul & Maria and David & Toni. Son in law of Dave and Marg Taylor, brother in law of Wendi & Tony and Sid & Frankie. A much-loved uncle and a great friend to many.
A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held at the South Wairarapa Workingmen's Club, (West Street entrance) Greytown at 11am, Wednesday 8th May, to be followed by a private cremation.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Wairarapa Hospital, Wellington Free Ambulance paramedics, Dr Simmers, the amazing Palliative care nursing team including Ian and Anna, and to our wonderful Aunty Kath.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made for research into Oesophageal cancer and may be left at the service. .
