McCARTHY Phil (Sarah Philomena) of Cootehill, Co Cavan, Ireland, died peacefully on April 19th 2007, aged 71 years.


Dearly beloved wife of the late Jeremiah (Jerry); mother and mother in law of Deirdre and Nic, Ged and Kinu, Finola and Tom, and the late Kieran and Nana of Lily, Nicolas, Stella and Neve.

Grateful appreciation to Dr Stephanie Mattich; Dr Catherine Barrow, the Oncology Team, Kate Wild and the District Nurses at Wellington Hospital; and the doctors, nurses and volunteers at Mary Potter Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Mary Potter Hospice PO Box 7442 Wellington South would be appreciated.

Phil's Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Childers Terrace, Kilbirnie on Monday April 23rd 2007 at 1pm, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in Church on Sunday, April 22nd at 7:30pm. For those wishing to pay their respects to Phil, feel free to call at the family home.
