Loved father, passed away quietly, in his sleep, on April 2nd 2020; aged 87 years. Joining his wife Iris, and survived by his five children Christine, David, Alan, Janet and Kelly, also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born in Doncaster in 1932 and serving with the 3rd King's Hussars in Germany. Emigrated to New Zealand in 1966.

Engineer, jazz lover, gardener and loved father.

A service will be held at a later date to lay the ashes of Alf and Iris in the Memorial Garden of Whitestone Funeral Services.
