On 19th July 2020 peacefully at his home, surrounded by family. In his 71st year.
Dearly loved husband of Alice. Loved father of Aaron and Nathan. Loved stepdad to Alice’s son Jason. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Anne, June and Craig, Pauline and Karl. Loved and respected by Alice’s family in China and a loved uncle and friend to many. Loved master of Bracken.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wairarapa Cancer Society, P.O. Box 121, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer.
A service for David will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Road, Carterton on Wednesday 22nd July 2020 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.

Alice and Jason, Aaron, Nathan and their family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them in various ways following their recent loss of David.
A special thanks to Dr Craig Cherry, the staff at Carterton Medical Centre and the Palliative Care team for their care and support of David and his family and especially Bernie, who made David’s final hours as comfortable as possible, to Pam Bailey for her gentle guidance and comforting words.
