Died peacefully in Wellington at Village at the Park Retirement Care after a long battle with cancer. On 12th November 2020, aged 87, surrounded by her children and grandchildren

She had a long and full life and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She will be sadly missed by all her grandchildren and great grandchildren in New Zealand, Australia, Niue Islands and England.

A service to celebrate the life of Lamakai will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 375 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington on Wednesday 18th November at 10:00 am thereafter interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery, Porirua at approximately 3:00 pm.
