SHEAT William Newton (Bill) CNZM OBE on January 20th 2021 peacefully surrounded by family at Riverleigh Hospital, Lower Hutt, aged 90 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Genevieve; Loved father and father-in-law of Graeme, Terry, and Cathie and Andy; Much loved grandpa of Ashleigh, Kimberley, and Michael; Jeremy and Isabel; Loved GG of Finn; Loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Yvonne;  Loved by his nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hutt Valley Heart Trust (03-0531-0608031-00) would be appreciated.

Special thanks to the staff of Te Omanga Hospice and Riverleigh and to Dr Van Rij for the care and support they provided to Bill.

Bill’s funeral service will be held at the Embassy Theatre, Kent Terrace, Wellington on Thursday January 28th 2021 at 1:30pm followed by a private cremation.
