JONES, Lillian May (Lil) – nee Tucker. Of Carterton.
On 28th March 2021 peacefully at Carter Court. In her 104th year.
Beloved wife of the late Eric.
Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Valerie and Peter Batchelor and Barbara and the late Peter Durbin.
Loved ‘Ouma’ of her grandchildren: Robert and Kim Batchelor, Alison and Kevin Hull, Diane Batchelor and Chris Peterson, Malcolm and Anna Batchelor; Deborah and Michael Willoughby, Elizabeth and Craig Garlick, Rebecca and Bruce Robertson; her great grandchildren: Sarah, Amanda, Judy and Willy, Abby and Jason, Johnny and Aimee, Allen;Susan, Natasha and Joel, Joshua, Matthew, Isabel, Sophia, Jordan and Robyn, Hannah, Kane, and Danielle; and her eight great great grandchildren.
A special thanks to all at Carter Court for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers a donation to St Mark’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.
A service for Lil will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, Carterton on Thursday 1st April 2021 at 1.00pm followed by private cremation.
