Josepho Marie Junior Antonio (aka Junz, Tito)

On Thursday 15th June 1978, our family celebrated and were overjoyed at the arrival of a beautiful, bouncy boy. Junior came into this world as the eldest child of Fogatia (RIL) and Sesilia Antonio. He is without a doubt, the most loving brother to Silia and her partner Poni and the most supportive and thoughtful Uncle to all of his nephews and nieces, especially, Cortez, Dayli, Tyler, Harlan, Indy and Saes Junior.

It is impossible to encapsulate Junior in just a few sentences. His cheeky laughter, infectious humour, crack-up antics and endless generosity will never be matched. Our pillar of strength, our rock, our confidant and our comedian, will not only be deeply and sincerely missed but will always be held dear to our hearts for the rest of our days.

On Friday, 20th of August 2021, our worlds caved in when our treasured Junior left us. We will struggle to pick up the pieces for a very long time to come but are comforted by the overflowing messages and calls of support, prayers and alofa. We thank you all for reaching out to us through all forms of media during this extremely emotional time.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at St Anne’s Catholic Church, Newtown, Wellington on Saturday 20 August 2022 at 11.30am.
