On 7 September 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly at his home, aged 80 years. Dearly loved Husband of Ann. Loved father and father in law to Diane and Robert, David and Angela Stead, and Barry Stead. Loved grandfather of Sherie Poole and Tai Mears, Matthew and Kathleen Poole, Aaron Poole. Great grandfather to Ollie Mears.
Loved brother and brother in law of Jocelyn and Allan Laurie, uncle to Allan, Jane and Dean Laurie. A tribute may be placed on Alan’s page at www.tributes.co.nz. In accordance with family wishes a private family service has been held, and will be followed by a memorial service when restrictions allow.
