On August 24, 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully at Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village; in her 86th year. 

Dearly loved wife of the late Peter for 59 years. Loved Mother of Malcolm, and Claire and mother-in-law of Andy, loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Jessie (Jo) Stokes, the late Margaret (Peg) and Eric Bloxham and Margaret and the late Hugh Stokes.

Due to Covid Level 2 restrictions, a memorial service for Jean allowing 100 people to attend will be held in the Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road at 2pm on Friday September 24.
