POULOPOULOS/MAGIANNIS, Cathy (Katerina)

Passed away peacefully at home on 29th September, after a brave struggle with cancer.

Beloved wife of Stephen, mother to Adam, Sarah and Anthea; sister to Bruce, Alicia and Ritsa. Devoted daughter, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, Thea, Koumbara and Nouna. Loyal friend and respected colleague.

The family wish to sincerely thank the staff at Mary Potter Hospice and the CCDHB District Nurses for their care and support that allowed Cathy to spend her last days at home with her family.

Relatives and close friends are welcome to pay respects to the family at Cathy’s home in Hataitai on Saturday 2nd October, between 3pm and 5 pm.

The funeral for Cathy will be held on Monday 4th October at 11am, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance at the funeral is by invitation only. Please phone 021 125 1888 to register your name and cell phone number.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral and Mary Potter Hospice may be left at the service.
