O’BRIEN, Doreen Margaret (Dawdy) – nee Butcher.
On 3rd October 2021 peacefully at Lansdowne Park, in the presence of family. In her 86th year.
Dearly loved best friend and wife of the late Dick (they were married for 62 years.)
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Denis and Lyn Churcher, Richard, Michael, Pamela and Rex Saywell, Tony and Glenda.
Adored ‘Nana Dawdy’ of her 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A loved sister, sister-in-law, Auntie and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wairarapa Cancer Society, PO Box 121, Masterton 5840 would be appreciated and may be left in the chapel foyer.
A service for Doreen will be held in the Richmond Chapel, Richmond Rd, Carterton on Thursday 7th October 2021 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation at Clareville.
Covid restrictions of the day will apply. Doreen’s service will be livestreamed via her tribute page.
