Timoleon (Tim) Giannoutsos - Born on the island of Kastos, Greece, 24 April 1942 and passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, at Te Hopai Home & Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 79.

Beloved husband of Catherine. Adored step-father of Sophie & George, Vee & Niko, and cherished Papou of Andreas & Gabriel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Community of Wellington and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of NZ may be left at the service.

A funeral service for Tim will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Thursday 30th December, at 10:30am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. In accordance with the family’s wishes “Tim’s” funeral will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown upon arrival at the venue.


The family would appreciate all those wanting to give their condolences to do so at the Church service.
