BIGGS, Kelvin Eric: With much sadness we announce the passing of Kel on Tuesday, 28 December 2021 in the peaceful surroundings of Te Omanga Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Kel was a devoted and caring husband of Margaret, loving father & father in-law of Greg & Joanne, Chris & Liz, Brendan & Maryanne, loved brother in-law of Graham Smith. Grandad of Emma, Sophie, Tom, Sam, Jack, Casey, Sinead, James, Oliver and Hannah. Great Grandad of Leo, Clara, Giselle and Eva.

A Requiem Mass for Kel will be celebrated in St Martin de Porres Church, Park Avenue, Lower Hutt on Wednesday, 5 January 2022 at 11.00am followed by interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Kel’s Mass will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown on arrival at the Church. Messages may be left here on Kel’s tribute page.. Kel’s service may be viewed via the blue livestream tab at the top of this page.
