Kidd, Rohan (Mick) J.P. (Retired) – on 17 January 2022, peacefully in hospital, aged 85 years, surrounded by his family.

Dearly loved husband of Gai for 54 years. Loved by his sons and daughters in law John and Bridget and Brad and Sally. Beloved Faaaa of his grandchildren Campbell, Charlie, Harry, Lucy and Sylvie.

A true Taranaki boy and loved brother of Toi, Ola, Rona, Bob, Barry, Marlene and Morris.  A cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

A very special thanks to the many health professionals who have cared for Faaa in recent times, in particular the Wellington Emergency Department, MAPU, AWHI, Community Nurses and Ward 5 at Kenepuru Hospital.  You all do an amazing job.

Rohan’s funeral will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, 1 Cockburn Street, Lyall Bay, Wellington at 2.00pm on Tuesday 25 January followed by a private cremation. A separate burial service will be held in Stratford at a later date.

In accordance with the family’s wishes Rohan’s funeral will be open to vaccinated people only and certificates must be shown upon arrival at the venue. This service can be viewed via the livestream tab on the Tributes website.
