HYNES, Wilson Patrick Michael (Mike) - Aged 64 years. Passed away peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice at 12.05am on 16 August, 2007, after a brief illness.

Eldest son of the late Sydney Manaia and Amiria (Beauty) Hynes (nee MacDonald). Grandson of the late Sydney & Makareta Hynes and George & Kate MacDonald. Adored brother and brother in-law of Wendell & Kathy and Jeffrey. Loving husband of the late Whatapuhiariki (Priscilla) Hynes (nee Rua). Devoted father and father-in-law of Orini, Adam Manaia and Tikina & Kevin. Cherished Uncle of Wendy & John, Jeffrey & Amanda and Bianca. The best koro in the world to India, Princess Sydney, Safari, Charlize Amiria and Douglas.

A humble man who always gave his family unconditional love and support.

Mike will lay at Te Tatou o Te Po Marae until his service at 10.00am on Saturday 18 August at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2-6 Kensington Avenue, Petone. Burial will follow at Taita cemetery.
