BERTOS, Xanthoula, Titina – Peacefully released into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, 22nd March 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly loved wife of Laki, loved and adored by her children George and Sue, Jimmy and Antonia, Nina and Leo and Alex and JhoAnn.

Treasured Yiayia of her grandchildren, Zoi, Vangeli and Ashleigh, Eleni and Bradley, Jimmy, Liana, Paris, Achilleus, Loukas, Iraklis and Josh.

Beloved Big-Yiayia of her great-grandchildren, Giorgio, Madisyn, Forrest, Angelo and Chester.

Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Zoi and Taki, Mark and Thora, John and Noelene, Dorothy and Peter, Marika, Leonidas and Fatme, Christos and Bessy, Vaso and Marianna, Viky and George, Marci and Younel, and Taki and Dana.

Adored aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

With her infectious smile and her unrelentless drive, her open heart, and her willingness to give of herself, Titina touched so many hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Greek Orthodox Community and the Greek Orthodox Youth and may be left at the service.

At the family’s request Xanthoula’s funeral is open to vaccinated people only and vaccine passes must be shown upon arrival. Numbers able to attend are limited to 200 and you will need to ‘Register to Attend’ this funeral via Xanthoula’s tribute page at www.tributes.co.nz . Those unable to enter the Cathedral, are welcome to stand outside, however the family does respectfully ask for compassion for the elderly and ask that they be permitted to enter the Church in place of someone younger already inside.

A service for Xanthoula will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral “O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Tuesday 29th March at 11:00am thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.

You are welcome to join the family at the interment of Titina at Makara Cemetery.
