JENKIN, the Reverend Sylvia Lois
Peacefully, at Longview Home, on 18 May 2022, at 91 years of age. Presbyterian deaconess 1957-69. Minister 1972-96 in Porirua, Kawerau, and Lower Hutt. Cherished daughter of the late Henry William (Will) and Harriet (Harrie) Jenkin. Beloved sister of the late Ian, Lloyd, and Owen. Dearly loved aunt of Eleanore, Margaret, Beverly, Robert, Rex, Elise, and Chris, great-aunt of Tania, Suren, Conal, Maire, Krissi, Greg, Krista, Eldon, the late Katie and Carle, Beth, Jonathan, Charlotte, Grant, Scott, Rosalee, Davena, Serena, Kira, Tana, Keith, and Breezy, and their partners and children. Sylvia’s family would like to thank all involved in her care.

A private cremation will take place on Tuesday 24 May. A memorial service will be held at Tawa Union Church, Elena Place, Tawa at 2:00pm on Saturday June 4th.
