JOHNSTON, Doreen Alice, (Deen): on 6 July 2022 peacefully at the Elderslea Care Suites, aged 90 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Paul. Loved Mum of Peter & Joanne, Annette & Grant, Wayne & Karen, Pauline & Peter, and Molly & Chris. Treasured Nana of Rebecca & Nick, Melanie & David (Dec), Luke & Jannah, Joshua, Sonya & Nio, Chanelle & David, Briarley & Jarrod, Chad & Emma, Trista & Marv, Sierra & Shane, Jackie & Zyria, Great-nana of Kandice, Mannix, Harlan, Nation, Lennox (Dec), Nixon, Willow, Noa, Tyra & Tommy, Kobi & Tayla, Harper, Hudson, Dawson, Ruby Love, Ziah, Marley (Dec), Micah, Lake, James (Dec), and Elijah and Great-great-nana of Keane, Kairo, Kaveli, and Kohl.

A celebration of Deen’s life will be held at The Grasslands, Silverstream Retreat, 3 Reynolds Bach Drive, Lower Hutt on Monday, 11 July 2022 at 11.00am followed by interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.
