Cummings, Brian Gerard SM, Rev Father, Member of the Society of Mary, on 19 August at Mary Potter Hospice Wellington after a short illness.

Youngest son of the late William (Bill) and Eileen Cummings. Brother and brother in law of Bernard and the late Kathleen, Marie and Peter Phillips, Patrick and Margaret, and of Sandy.

Loved and respected member of the Society of Mary resident at Pa Maria, Wellington.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary of the Angels, Boulcott St, Wellington on Tuesday 23 August at 1.00 pm, thereafter interment at the Makara Cemetery.

A Vigil Service for family and friends will be held at St Joseph's Church Brougham Street Mt Victoria at 7 p.m. on Monday evening. RIP.
